Figures of Speech: The Art of Radical Inclusivity
As part of her Doctor of Ministry thesis project, Rev. Martina E. Efodzi will be offering a FREE expressive arts workshop to assist clergy and laity at Emmanuel with developing more cultural humility towards their LGBTQ+ siblings. Topics related to gender identity, sexual orientation, intersectionality, empathy, and trauma-informed pastoral care will be discussed. Best practices for how to integrate cultural humility principles into one’s spiritual practice and ministry settings will also be explored. 1 CEU awarded for clergy participants. Registration is required and is limited to 12 participants.
