During Lent (through April 19), Jossie Sapunar will host a daily morning prayer call, urging us to action, pushing us for strength, and centering us in the Spirit. Prayers will take place at 7:30AM Monday -Saturday and last no more than 15 minutes. The call will be facilitated through the EUMC prayer line. Also, on Fridays during Lent at noon, our Lay Leader, Judy Davies, will lead prayer on the seven last words of the cross. Those who are interested should contact Judy (Judydavies@eumclaurel.org

On Thursday, April 17 join the cluster churches for a living dramatization of the last supper. This opportunity is different from the traditional foot washing and communion service of years past. Instead, participants will have a chance to experience some of Christ’s final moments with his disciples before being denied, betrayed, and rejected.

This year’s Good Friday service is “A Service of Silence and Lamentation”, created by Dr. Denise Dombkowski Hopkins. In her words, “We enter into this time of silence and lamentation as a way of affirming and entering into our own sense of abandonment and despair, which many of us experience from time to time.” Please join us on Friday, April 18, at 7PM.

On Sunday, April 20 join us at 7:00AM for an early worship service. Then stay for breakfast in our Fellowship Hall from 8:00-9:45AM, which will be followed by a second Easter service at 10:00 AM. (There will be no Together@11.)
